This was not so much a tuning issue as not-so-careful workmanship. The
owner had just had a 20,000km service at his local dealer but now it wouldn't
idle and had a big flat spot when you open the throttle.
Badly fitting plug caps meant the sparkplugs were sitting in water,
and the air box had not been fitted correctly causing an air leak from
the manifold. Once that was sorted we fitted a Power Commander and remapped
it with Tuning Link.

955i before and after tuning with PCIII. What a difference - 30%
increase in power at 3000 rpm. What else can you say!

Whats going on here.... I suspect someone has downloaded a Triumph map not suited to this bike.
Fortunately it already had a Power Commander fitted and we were able
to very quickly establish that it was a fuel related problem, connect it
to Tuning Link and remap it to suit.
12 more horsepower everywhere, and no more flat spots. Much more
better...
